One of my goals in opening my business was to make design services more accessible to more people. As long as my time and schedule allow, I offer the following types of services:
Mood Boards
I offer two types of mood boards- a general mood board and a more specific one, that includes product resources, costs, and/or layouts. The first type of mood board provides you with a general direction to work towards in your project, but for the most part you are researching and finding the specific products. The second, more specific one, provides you with a basic blueprint for your entire space. This includes specific paint colors, products that fit your price range, and layouts for the space. There is still a DIY aspect to this service as you will be purchasing items, contacting contractors, and implementing the design on your own. Total cost varies by size and scope of project, but start at $200. Please don’t hesitate to contact me and see what is within your budget.
Full Design Service
With this option, I will follow you step-by-step throughout the design process. Collaborating with you, I will design the space, meet with contractors, and help with implementation and progression of the design until the end. This is generally done on an hourly rate of $50.
Virtual Services
I am also open to providing services virtually if you are not local. We can discuss the project and your needs over phone, email, or zooms. Of course, I will not be able to provide onsite and day-to-day supervision on the project.
Organization
I also offer organization services. With this service, I assist in purging items from your home and cleaning up the spaces, as well as laying out the spaces in a way that best and most effectively serve their purpose in your home. Once this is complete shelves, drawers, cabinets, and closets are reorganized in a way that makes things easier to not only for you to find, but also to put away. A huge goal for me in this process is not a Pinterest perfect space, but sustainability and practicality; spaces done within a budget you are comfortable with, and in a way that ensures you are able to maintain the newly organized spaces because they truly work for you and your family.
Organization services are generally done on an hourly basis ($40) but after meeting with you and discussing the scope of the project, I try to provide you with an estimate of how long the project will take and the costs involved. These costs will usually involve purchasing storage bins, boxes, etc. though I will always try to use what you already have first.
There is also a DIY option offered with organization as well. Starting at $150, I will meet with you one-on-one, discuss useful tips, products that could be used in your space, and a brief outline of how to implement a plan. Once again, final costs will be determined by size and scope of the project.
